Flogd is a new way to sell your stuff anywhere on the web using the well known method of copying and pasting code into your blog, MySpace, any social media page or even as the easiest option for cart software on your own website.

Your shop is absolutely customizable- you can build your shop from scratch, or choose a template and edit it if you want to make it your own. Flogd shops integrate neatly into your very own page with your choice of size, color and number of images.

The products you put in your shop are your own products- this is not some tacky eBay affiliate program, putting boring software and books onto your page- everything is controllable by you! When a customer buys something from your shop, they stay right on your site. Flogd processes transactions securely from within their flash window. As far as the customer is concerned, there is no interruption of the user experience, and thus reducing customer fall-out rates.

Flogd charges 3% on transactions over USD$25. Transactions under $25 incur no fees apart from those charged by our transaction providers. (boo, hiss)

If you change or remove a product, all your shops are automatically updated- saving you time and effort and generally making life a little bit easier. We promise your Shops will only sell products you have uploaded, and will never change unless you want them to. We will never use the Shop for advertising.

Mike,

Who would you say this service appeals to?

It seems easy enough to use, perhaps bands and artists will be able to take advantage of it on myspace.

Exactly my thoughts tbh, its a great opportunity to drop merchandise onto your profile etc. Cant really see it taking off as a selling venue parse' as the sites in question are not really all about that..
