Thought of alot of things but can't come up with an idea. I'm not good at making things so crafts is out of the question.

I hear there is a research tool called Ebay Marketplace Research where you can look up the top searched products on ebay. I am not sure if there is a fee for this service or not because I havent looked for it yet but plan to. I actually want to start selling some digital products.

I always find it's better to establish yourself in a small niche than to chase everyone else. Jim Cockrums new book advises users to use Amazons best sellers to see whats popular and create your own product based on this. Seems like a good plan to me

If you are good at software programming, you could identify a niche that would be profitable.
You could then sell the product on CD-ROM on ebay.
Make sure your packaging is as professional as possible. THis will ensure great feedback. Look at shrinkwrapping as well; it's not as expensive as you might think.
The bottom line is, always make sure the customer is happy, otherwise your selling career on ebay will be very short lived.

I don't know. It's such a wide choise and totally depends on yourself

Yes - if you sell things that interest you, you're unlikely to ever get bored by your business.

But, finding something you like is the difficult part!
You could think all day and still not find something you can really stick your feet into!
But I agree, no point following the crowd, you've got to do it on your own...

One idea is to sell used computers (PCs, notebooks, parts). You can find some offline providers of cheap used computers (I know there are many in Italy ). If you buy a considerable quantity of them, you will get additional discount of otherwise cheap pieces. You can set a two-fold prize online then.

Once you've found what you want to sell, don't forget that you've got to get your hands on the item you want to sell.

For those who aren't as good as Michael is at arts and crafts, check out this website that provides you with things at wholesale prices, so you can sell them on ebay for a nice profit.

I'm not good at arts and crafts either, and get all my goods from there.

Definitely worth checking out.

Look for drop shipping as well. These are where you purchase from a whilesaler but they actually ship the product to yoru customer directly instead of you. Helps with inventory control and it means you don't have to purchase large amount up front. However, it may also mean you won't get decent wholesale proces... You'll need to access the pros and cons.

You can also find out the most searched items by going to the eBay pulse.

Hi Sgllocal. Which eBooks are best to sell? and is there money to be made selling them on eBay or is it better to create a website?

Hatching eggs particularly turkeys and peacocks sell at amazing prices if you have a source of eggs? The other for a good profit margin is incubators. Only problem is theyare quite a seasonal product to sell.
