I was browsing EBay a couple of days ago and found a seller listing Alaskan gold nuggets for sale. The seller does not live in Alaska. The location in Alaska the seller said the nuggets came from does not exist, to the best of my knowledge. This seller has numerous current listings and numerous completed sale listings. My best guess is the seller thinks gold nuggets from Alaska will either sell better or command a higher price than nuggets from other places.

I alerted EBay about this possible fraudulent advertising but they have done nothing yet. What constitutes a fraud in EBay's view and how long does it take them to act? Do they act?
