Hi, I found a 2006 Toyota Tacoma on craigslist 4x4 for a great price. It seemed to good to be true so i emailed the lady asking her why it is that low and what is wrong with it. She sent me an email saying first off that the truck is located in Quebec, Canada. She also said that nothing is wrong with the truck. She gave me this spill saying that she recieved this great job here in the states and they gave her a new company car. So she has no use for the truck and she needs to sell it as soon a possible. Also in the email she said that she is going to take care of the shipping for Free!! No extra charge or fees!! All she would need is a $3000 dollar deposit first. Once we recieve the truck we will have 10 days to inspect and drive the truck, making sure there is nothing wrong with it. Within that time period we have to pay for the rest of the truck. She also said that if we don't want it there will be a full refund back. No catches.. Also she sent me pictures of the truck and they look great. Also she sent me a Vin # for the truck saying that I can run a car fax on it. I ran it and there was nothing wrong with it at all. The only thing that the truck was purchased and last inspectioned in Massachuetts..... Not Quebec... It has listed that there has been only one owner for this truck. I asked why the is the truck in Quebec but no answer. I asked her if we could meet because she said that she was located in the same city as me. I also asked if she could call me and talk to me before i bought the truck. She said that she would love to meet me and my family, however, she is on business and the only phone that she has is a company phone. I asked her if she could please call me from a pay phone or something. But all she said was that she has is a company phone. She said that when we begin the transaction that we will deal only with ebay motors because she said that it is safer for both of us. I have never bought a car online before but i do have an ebay account. I have been reading about the "VPP" offered on ebay. I was wondering, say that we pay the deposit and never revieve the truck. The VPP will take care of it for us, reimbershing me or so to say. Also, dealing with ebay will she recieve the deposit before we get the truck or after we get the truck??? Notifying her that we recieved it??? How safe does this sound?? I don't want this to be a fraud!!! Like i said eariler, she only want to deal with this through ebay.... Is this safe sounding to yall?? please write back as soon as possible.. I really want this truck!!!! Thanks
