Hi, all --

I've been trying to improve two things, bringing in more customers (not just visitors) and increasing repeat customers.

I've been part of a beta group for a company called Massive Acorn which have built something which can do this and they want more people to give feedback.

Basically, it's loyalty rewards for any e-merchant. Very easy, no code involved. And you only pay when someone actually buys from you.

But they are offering this limited beta and I wanted to extend it to some of you:

Click on: http://www.MassiveAcorn.com and fill out the form. Most of the interaction is over the phone with a web presentation and it really gives you a feel for what is possible.

Thanks, hope you enjoy.

Thanks for sharing this with all of us!

You must always remember that you can foster repeat sales no matter what site you are using and you can do this by simply following a few techniques that have been proven to keep customers coming for more.

And here's what we at SaleHoo have to say about making repeat sales:

IF you really want to make a new customers and want that customers will have a long term relations with you then you need to focus the relevance of your website. Increase your relevance over the web , The demography you are focusing should be focus over the web and you need back links from the relevant website. Plus you can do directly submission over the same category of business in which you are dealing. Directory submission allows you to have more potential customers and conversion rate is greater. That is the visitor converts into the Customer.

Yes, that is true. The more exposure your site has the more visitors you get and the higher potential you have at getting a customer. But convincing a visitor to becoming a paying a customer is another thing.

Online shoppers have grown a lot wiser and now scout the net from end to end (if they have to) in order to find a great deal or the supplier they feel at ease with with.

This is most likely where a seller's customer service skills come in quite handy. Some shoppers do not necessarily buy from a seller because they offer the lowest prices rather because of the ease and comfort they feel - from the service/information/assistance provided by that particular seller. It's actually quite simple, great service + great products = repeat customers.

Cheers! :)

eBay is such a great sales funnel from the offset, I mean the largest propotion of vistors are buyers anyway, and a strong way to capture targeted buyers once they have been to your listing and/or store and purchased, is by collecting their email details through Paypal that is if they pay by paypal , by doing this you are building a database of buying customers that you can sell to in the future off eBay!
