Me and my girlfriend have had an absolute recent nightmare on Ebay with a seller.. Apologies if this is not in the correct forum..
Here is the mail I sent to Ebay for you to all read, I would really appreciate peoples opinions and advice as we feel we have been robbed by this guy and we still can't believe what he has done. The last thing he done was to copy and paste our feedback comments and then leave them on our own account!
BEGIN:
Sir/Madam,
I am writing to you regarding a recent dispute I have had closed which was not in my favour. I wanted the chance to summarise exactly what has happened and have this issue looked at again as there are several key pieces of information that have been overlooked by Ebay/Paypal regarding the dispute which have led to this dispute result.
1. On the 18th September I purchased item number 380063639100 and paid for the item using my Paypal account under transaction ID: #6N1320148U825545B
2. The item never arrived, so a dispute was opened for this item. On the 3rd October a Paypal dispute was raised under case number PP-556-623-434. This case status is now closed in the sellers favour.
3. The tracking number provided by the seller is in fact not accurate. On the 16th October I received a package with tracking number DV413653069GB. The package was sent from the following fictitious postal address:
Leon S Adward,
5 Rusholme Rd,
London,
E14 4BL
This is NOT the correct address of the seller who I purchased the item from. The seller’s postal address is:
Shizalta Worldwide Merchants & Wholesalers,
24 Nantwich Road,
Fallowfield,
Manchester
Lancashire
M14 7AP
Which is not a valid postal address in the UK and is most certainly not this seller’s postal address. What also proves this is that the postage stamp states ‘M14’ which is a Manchester postal prefix and it is not ‘E14’.
Once again to confirm, the E14 address is NOT a valid postal address.
The actual content of the package was simply an empty plastic packet for computer memory, which is a course not the item I should have received. This package was sent on the 14th October, which is of course well into the then open dispute.
It is in my opinion that the seller has only sent this item to be able to provide a tracking number to Ebay/Paypal, when of course it appears intentional that the wrong item (empty packaging) was sent inside and a fraudulent postal address written on the package.
4. On the 10th October an item that I was selling, ended and was paid for using Paypal from a buyer ID ‘shumaxx’, when I was ready to send the invoice I noticed that the postal address for the buyer was:
Shizalta Worldwide Merchants & Wholesalers,
24 Nantwich Road,
Fallowfield,
Manchester
Lancashire
M14 7AP
Which is the exact same address as the seller I had the open dispute against. As I was aware of the open dispute with ‘shizalta_worldwide’ I decided to refund the buyer in full, as I did not want any business involvement with them at all. A refund was provided to them in full on 12th October under Paypal transaction ID ‘3KH85297FY941554X’
5. The dispute is now closed in the seller’s favour, when I still have not received a refund or the item. I would like the opportunity to dispute the conclusion of this case, as I am not happy with the outcome. I have done absolutely nothing wrong and the seller has been very tactical to ensure that they do not have to provide a refund to me and have the chance to leave negative feedback against my account.
My request is that someone at Ebay/Paypal can take ownership of this issue, read all of the above and understand my issue. It is very clear from what I have said that this seller has been very tactical and cunning.
Also I would like to understand the procedure to appeal this dispute, as it is clear Paypal have not investigated anything to do with the Royal Mail tracking number that the seller provided. How can Paypal be sure what the tracking number provided actually contained? This is a decisive and very important piece of information that had led to the dispute result, when in fact it doesn’t actually prove that I have received my item.
Also can you please examine the negative feedback against the account ‘shumaxx’? All 7 negative comments are all relevant to my dispute. I have also provided Ebay/Paypal with all of the abusive messages I have received from the seller. He has been threatening on more than 1 occasion.
I am very upset that this dispute has gone against me, I am a honest Ebay user and have been conned against a very tactical, abusive and determined Ebay user who needs to disciplined for his behaviour to others on Ebay.
Also can you please let me know of any evidence you require me to provide, as I will be as co-operative as possible.
All of the facts are in this e-mail, I just hope someone your side can take the time to understand and sort this issue out whilst providing us with the justice that we fully deserve.
I look forward to your reply.
END.
