Hi

I sell a range of Car Lighting accessories / replacement bulbs / HID kits on eBay.

I have done a lot to advertise these outside of eBay. I maintain a blog which directs a lot of traffic to my auctions, and also advertise on various car forums / owners clubs. Although for most of these I sell directly to the members on the forums.

I have also recently done a lot of research on what people are searching for, and optimising my listings so they stand out better and are easier to find.

After doing all of this work I was greeted with nearly 50 sales in the week after that, which was great!

However, at the moment I have hit a bit of a low. I am still getting plenty of visits to my auctions / shop but they are not selling!

My auction ending tomorrow can be found at : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... RK:MESE:IT

I would really appreciate any feedback / constructive criticism, especially if there is anything about my auctions that people find offputting.

Also I have a few specific questions about it:
1. Would people rather pay £56 and get free shipping, or £35 + £20 for shipping?
2. How easy is it to get to my shop from my auction listings?

Thanks very much

Here is my advice:

1. Looking at the auction my first impression is "too much text" or (the other way round) use more images! Include more detailed shots.

2. The photo looks a little bit messy. Please arrange it more nicely. Compare your photo to other auctions.

3. Put the word "new" in the auction title!

4. Use a nice template with subheadings. give the description more structure.

All the best!

I agree with the above, the biggest question I have simply from reading the listing is are they new or used??

I agree that nice template will increase your sales dramatically. So much products, so much competitors, how can you be most visible? With great template!
