Thanks for the list. I will look into them.

But I will still be using eBay. They have more brading than any of the sites on your list. Plus they have invested more money in advertising the site too.

Not trying to say anthing negative about your list. I for one do believe in having multiple streams of income.

Thanks again fomr the list

Here is to your success.

Thanks for the list but here is the new auction online and that stand as ebay alternative offering NO FEE upon registration this days for both seller and buyer. It provides an online platform where buyers can source products from many sellers. It empowers individual consumer with greater bargaining power through grouping similar orders together.

It makes e commerce accessible and affordable to all sellers as there are no maintenance requirements, no listing fees, just many orders.

Nice list but I'm starting to wonder if auction sites are the best option for selling items online. Does anyone know of a site that offers better protection for buyers and sellers? Or where the fees are lower and your listing last until the item sells or it is removed by the seller?

Thanks so much for sharing the list. Anyway, I like using Ebay more than these forums.

At present there are so many well established sites although nothing can still bit the traffic that flocks to eBay. But I think an article posted by auctionbytes.com may serve helpful in choosing the marketplace that suits your needs as a seller.

"AuctionBytes published the results of its survey of online sellers conducted in January 2010 asking them to rate 15 ecommerce marketplaces. The survey, which garnered over 1,400 responses, asked sellers to rate the marketplaces on four criteria: profitability, customer service, communication and ease of use. RubyLane.com, Bonanzle, AtomicMall.com, and Amazon.com were rated highest overall by respondents..."

Great info....John.

For those seriously considering selling on Amazon.com you might find this new feature (on Amazon) a great help!

Amazon now provides its sellers with a list of highly sought after products yet are low in demand. Wouldn't this be an answer to the always asked question of 'What to sell?' - this feature will help sellers determine which products or product categories are viable. To learn more about this, please visit the link below:

Hope this helps! :)
