Hi all,

I am trying to start out on ebay. My problem is that I am not a US citizen. I was looking all day for dropshippers/wholesellers etc. I am still doing research/learning/thinking about my business model.

I often bump into this Tax Id which the drop shippers want. I understand it is a must for US retailers. In my case what can I do?

Will I have a problem operating my online business from outside US? Will no one sell/dropship stuff for me because I don't have a Tax ID.

These are the thoughts running in my mind. I was looking at salehoo and was thinking of taking the plunge, after this Tax thing, i feel scared.

I would greatly appreciate if someone can advise me.

can you get an EIN number?

I am based in the Caribbean and as far as I know, EIN number is only available in the US. In my case, can I source products from China and India and then have it drop ship to US customers. I have an ebay account.
