Hi new to this forum but have a real problem,my account was suspended for some unknown reason (only selling on ebay for a month) to me and was selling goods that many other people were selling so I don't understand why i'am any different,Anyhow since xmas is coming fast i need to sell my stock very quickly but can't,my feedback was !00% by the way with 60 sales with in a month,Can I use another family members account with there permission of course to sell the same goods or would ebay no that the account is being used by the same computer as my suspended account,Any advice would be most helpful

You certainly risk eBay suspending the 2nd account if they connect the two accounts for any reason. Having said that, I know sellers & buyers who have done exactly the same (using/creating a 2nd account) and never heard from eBay.

The choice is yours, is it worth the risk of having a 2nd account suspended?

Have you considered using a trading assistant to help sell your stock? Although you'd have to pay additional fees at least your items would stand a good chance of selling.

Welcome to the site. I do not know if eBay would log the ip address and see that it may be the same household that is applying?

I doubt it but, there may be a chance, that is how they catch shill bidding.

Make sure to keep records of the emails and ask them to notate the account. I had this happen for an item that I listed and it happened a few times, now I think they have documentation and it does not seem to happen any longer.

Good luck!

I matters if they are reporting you for the info in the listing, or because they don't like you ( competition) :)

Plus, you will have the "changed ID" logo near your name for 30 days. I do not think it would help. :(

I've seen some vindictive buyer in the past and there are a few ways to deal with them. the best is to report them right back to ebay; here is a eBay forum post on it:

i can't post links yet, so to go google, search for reporting buyer on eBay and it's the 4th result hosted on eBay's forums.

In the past, since we use software to manage our eBay business, we have given out discount codes to ease buyer's frustration or simply calm them down. This is the best part because usually we would give out store credit on our website and they would never use it! So we get a happy buyer and it costs nothing.

hope that helps! Thanks!

Ebay will get to the second account as all the accounts are marked there by the IP address, so as soon as u try and sell something or make a new account it will be suspended. your only chance is to change the connection or sell on other sites
