You should have more forums. Specifically forums where members can talk about the site, give you suggestions, etc.

Also, you should think about installing the Quick Reply MOD. Much easier for everyone.

Possibly, but I'd rather extend them slowly as we build up the post count and welcome new members. Members are welcome to offer suggestions within this category.

Agreed - it makes a lot easier to reply, so I'll be looking into the available mods. Thanks for your feedback.

Quick reply mod is now installed. It can be activated from within your profile.

O.K., first: forum runs smoothly. I am interested which hosting provider you use and where their server is located :) .

Second, I've found really hard to start posting here, since "only ebay" topics seemed so narrow to me. I warmed up a little now. My tiny suggestion: Can you tell somewhere here what is your intention: to talk about ebay or about other online auctions also. What will be the main accent?

What do you think about moving navigation buttons under the hading image?

One way to make this forum popular is to make a good collection of auction sites and all good (selected) auction related links and make them sticky. I mean to build an auction database slowly.

The forum will live only if here will be some service. People won't come just to discuss.

AuctionCUT is hosted at the DimeNOC, in Orlando, Florida.

Any online auction discussion is welcome, but does eBay have any serious competitors. There are a handful of big auction sites, such as qxl, cqout, even amazon but none are giving any serious trouble to eBay yet.

Possibly a good idea, but there are hundreds of new auction sites created daily, most fail to get any decent exposure for themselves and as a consequence have little or no auctions listed. We may however compile a list of the bigger sites and resources.
