|
|
A couple of months back I was on a forum and somebody had posted a thread announcing that they had an IPOD for sale. I made a reply but did not make an offer, I was asking about the things that are offered for sale on the site.
Yes, my post was sort of off topic, but anyway!!
A couple of days later I got an email saying that I purchased an Ipod and that my paypal account had been billed. I HAVE NO IDEA how they spoofed this email or what was going on or even how they dreamed that I would have a paypal account.
I checked at paypal and discovered that this purchase was not on my account.
This was a very strange situation and it made me kind of angry because I later found out that this seller was just spamming so they could harrass people into thinking they were making a purchase and maybe also having them follow up and actually complete the deal.
What in the hell is wrong with people. If they are going to spend time making money by being creative, then why don't they do it within the limits of the law and do everyone a favor and stop causing havoc. |
