I hope I am not the only one in saying that if you have just joined the ebay selling frenzy, you should not start with drop shipping.

In my experience and listening to others. You should become or join the ebay affiliate program first. Why? Well with the affiliate program, you have no inventory, no shipping and no price adjusting for anything you sell because what you are doing is advertising and selling other ebayers products for them and getting a commission for the sell.

Now a percent commission may not sound like a lot but for example if the buyer is not an ebay member. When they sign up, you will receive a flat $25 or more.

The problem I had with drop shippers was products not being delivered in a reasonable amount of time or they would say that they are out of stock. You have to stay on top of stuff like this cause it could cause you to get a bad rating for your ebay store.

I have tried a few of the build your own ebay store scripts and they seem to work well for me. Here is my latest store so that you can see what you can do: http://www.ohbaby-mybaby.com/

Well, I'll agree you should defiantly get some experience selling on eBay before diving towards using a dropshipper.

Ebay does have an excellent affiliate program, but would someone new to eBay have enough experience marketing it. Selling on eBay is easy, Selling an affiliate program is a little more difficult I'd say.
