Do you use Squaretrade or have you used it in the past? What were you experiences, would you recommend it to others & more importantly did it add any value to your auctions?

As a buyer would you be more inclined to purchase the item of a Squaretrade member. than a non member.

Please let us know your thoughts.

I have never heard of Squaretrade so of course cannot help you. Am going to start an eBay shop at any time and with a completely different product range, want to set up a second shop.

Is this feasable?

Regards

John, you can run 1,2 or even 100 eBay shops.

Just make sure that they're all profitable by themselves. Remember eBay should be a business NOT a hobby so regularly do a bit of accounting to ensure that every venture you have running is feasable "alone" & not being subsidised by your other activites that are making a profit.

Hi All

I've seen somewhere (might be on this forum) that Square Trade will remove a members negative feedback for a sum of £20.
Does this mean that some of the not so honest sellers can keep 100% , but still be bad traders. If so, whats the value in trusting Square Trade logo on ebay.

There is a lot of talk about ebay, but surely you guys use other auction websites too? cqout.com is free to use, anybody used that with good experience?

Used cqout and ebid
Sold my listed items, still not sure about using them on a regular basis though.

eBay has not been favored by a lot of people nowadays. Though there are many other sites such as ebid, cqout etc, but if you are someone who is surviving solely by selling on online auction, then I am afraid that it is quite impossible for you to totally avoid ebay.

The best approach will be having your own website, and sell on ebay at the same time. You can drive traffic to your website via eBay, and your ebay feedbacks are the most important and solid proof that you are a legitimate seller.

As for Squaretrade, i don't think it really matters, at least as much as feedback score is.
