Hello,

The problem that I have experienced with eBay is simple - extremely bad and slow customer service.
eBay overcharged me by mistake for their services and it over drafted the balance on my bank account. When I contacted them (by email) I did not receive any reply at all. Then I used their Live chat feature (they don't have a phone service!!!!!), and explained them the situation with my bank and suggested that eBay pays the over draft fee, since the fault is not mine. The supervisor I talked to, said that eBay is not going to do it and then just wished me good evening and closed chat window, even though I was still typing. Just like that!
I had questions unanswered, the problem is still unsolved.... will I be credited the amount I was overcharged? When? ... Let alone the overdraft fee.

I don't need extra stress in my life, and think that I just won't deal with eBay any more. Ever. If I need to sell something, there are other web-sites that
at least would be happy to help.

You should be credited with the amount. I know my account is currently in credit due to a mistake on there side. However, as for them paying your overdraft fees I think you can forget it.

Best thing I could advise is put it all in writing & send it to them via post, which should force them to look at your issues.

Good luck

Yeah consider yourself lucky if they feel the need to give you credit.

I forgot they have my credit card on file, and I also forgot to link my paypal and eBay account, checked my bank account about a week ago after not having checked it in 2 weeks, negative 200 $ or so. Went through the history, I went overdraft 2.38, next were the fees, of 36$ each day. I slowly paid it off, but still having overdraft charges two weeks later do to the fact I let it go so long.

Oh and eBay might not have a public customer service number, but with a company like that they don't list their numbers on the website, it might be in 411, so if you really get some nerves, call 411, ask for eBay, there in California, just don't know what city.
