That was a bargain overall, BUT, if a seller is violating the excessive shipping/fee circumvention policy it makes me wonder what other policies they are ignoring. If everyone got away with that, eBay would raise fees again for all they'd be losing in circumvention violators. I guess theres 2 sides to every coin but on one or the other SOMEbody loses. Yes?

I guess I was being selfish. You make valid points Judgement.

Ebay sellers are only a cross section of society in general. To that end there will be genuine people and those looking for the loopholes.

From a personal point of view I have always maintained that if the seller and buyer are happy with the deal then so be it, but I see it is more a matter of ebay missing out on charges which is making them take action. Nothing at all to do with protecting buyers!
