Sad Hey! Happy New Year! I cannot access ebay. I keep getting the error on Firefox and Internet Explorer that the server is not responding. However, I can get into other sites like CNN, weather.com, etc

Is anyone else experiencing server difficulties?

No - I've certainly had no problems accessing the site. Which version are you trying to access, ebay.com, ebay.co.uk, etc...

I am trying to acess ebay.com. It has been hit and miss this morning in the US. I cannot get into several other websites. Hmmm

Sounds like an issue with your internet provider rather than a specific ebay issue.

If I think a website is down, I always use the http://alertra.com/spotcheck.php service to see if it responds.

This checks the website from various places around the world - if the website responds ok then clear your browser cache and cookies - if problems still arise contact your isp to see if they have any connection problems.

Thanks! I appreciate the quick response. The wife was going crazy that she couldn't get on ebay!
