i find selling dvds the easiest, just input the barcode, and the whole thing is done for you

very easy to list I agree, but whats the secret to making a good margin on them? Finding a good wholesaler of decent quality titles is nigh-on impossible - far too many far-eastern region 0 wholesalers around.

At one point, I read DVD was the most popular search term on ebay so someone must be making money from selling them. Like steve mentioned, I think it would be hard to find a good dvd dropshipper where you can make money.

I'm actually in that very boat, I've been slowly selling Blu-ray exclusive media online (not eBay) but for very little profit. I can't imagine how a disc that is $1.39 per 100k to make end up being 24$ to my distributor and anywhere from 25.25-27$ to me based on volume. The best part is their SRP is 35-40$ on average and they actually sell for 25-30$ retail. This is a brand new and expensive technology yet there is no profit in it.. I just can't figure out where it all goes. Selling online I am doing well but I make my money off s&h.. I'd like to build a brand and do this for a while but at these profits I doubt that'll ever happen, any ideas?

I am actually looking into blu ray discs at the moment, seen some ridiculous prices but have seen some super competitive prices also. Volume is the key, which unfortunately the market doesn't seem to support at the moment although it does look like it is changing..
