I am a new seller on ebay. I am just selling some odd and ends around my house and barn. When I list an item, I see a section that says "You have no scheduled sells" or something like that.
It got me to wondering, is there a way one can start developing the add for the auction, and put it on hold until you are ready to sell? I made the mistake today of doing the write up and wanted to wait until I took some photo graphs before I listed my item. I thought it would give me that opportunity---but ebay listed my item without pictures. So I guess I have to wait until is it over---and doesn't sell without photographs to relist it. It wouldn't let me end the auction ---I was thinking that maybe that "schedule auctions" section does that, but for the life of me, I can't figure out what it is for.
thank you before hand for your answers.

Hi,

Sorry for the late reply.

Ebay does allow you to schedule a listing for the future, or more accuaratly if your a power seller you can schedule upto 3000 listings upto 3 weeks in advance. Sadly, there is a cost of this 0.06p per listing.

If you want the option to just save draft auction listings without scheduling them, or they are ready for when you want to list them I'd look at some ebay listing software. I'll dig around and see what I can find
