Thanks for the detailed information. I'm sure it will be helpful to buyers looking to grab a Tag Heuer watch from eBay.

Thanks for the link! I've also heard about powersellers who were selling 'designer' jeans that would retail at over $200 going for much cheaper. Of course, they were knockoffs, and when I last heard the people who had bought the knockoffs were putting together a lawsuit against the seller. Go them!

Rule of thumb is if it looks too good to be true it always is.

Always check out past feedback, check for shilling ID's, has the seller got good feedback for selling the same item before.

If you want to guarantee genuine, do not buy from eBay.

Well i totally agree with it. Always read the feedback of the seller you want to purchase anything from to avoid any kind of scam

You could also ask the seller to provide you necessary documents to proved the authenticity of their products. Legit sellers will have no difficulty providing this. In fact some willingly offer such proofs like receipts..

But a quick background check of the seller would be really helpful as well. Don't forget to pay using only the recommended safe payment methods - on eBay PayPal would work best because of their buyer protection program :)

Cheers!

Great Tip Saleeho.. You can also do some market survey to check either that product actually exists or it is just a fake display....
Use Auction sites to win cost-effective items.

Thanks edwardvettori :)

Nice suggestion about how one can verify the products true existence.. These days you just can't be too sure about anything on the net. Content can easily be photoshop-ed plus the growing of scammers!

Cheers
