Hi This is an extract from a report by Sarah Brown, renowned ebay guru.
The text is as follows: Please let me explain…….
A little while ago I sent an email to an Ebay seller. It was a very informal email. It started with the word ‘Hiya’
(I’ll be giving you the exact wording of that email later on in this ebook.)
Not very professional I agree, but it was exactly what was required, because the following 48 hours resulted in me banking £2,500 (well it actually went into my Paypal account then my bank account a few days later). Unfortunately only half this money was mine, but still not bad for two days work.
The Ebay seller was someone I’d never contacted before. A total stranger except for the fact that I knew of him because I’d spent some time browsing the listings.
Still I had no doubt that he would reply, even if it was a polite ‘no’.
In reality there was little chance of a ‘no’ really – would you say no to an email that suggested you could make a lump sum in two days from your own product? At the very least you’d want to hear more.

I've never bought or read any or Sara Browns publications, however I'm always seeing her ebooks advertised on eBay.

Perhaps I'll have to invest in one of her products to see how good she really is.

Hi Mark
Why not take the opportunity of downloading this free report.

Others are actually selling it on ebay.
It's 35 pages long in a pdf file.

I am giving the report away free, as a means of advertising my blog.
I'm hoping thats allowed
Perhaps you could give us all the benefit of your ebay knowledge and comment on whether her concept is a viable one or not.

Regards

Sure, I've scanned though the report last night and it is on the whole pretty basic internet marketing. However, basic internet marketing is the type that works best. The hardest part initially, would be creating your product (if you choose to do this - it's not compulsary).

You can also promote any joint ventures though sites such as http://jv-network.com which will bring big internet marketers on board if you have a unique product.

The only thing I'd disagree on, is Sara's suggestion to consider buying a list. It's essential to have a good relationship with your list, otherwise your response will be low or non existance and you may even be accused of sending spam.

I remember when I first started out on eBay this was one of the best ebooks I ever read. Of course I didn't have a product or a list then and didn't implement the methods.

Was the first I read about JV's though.
