well my cousin had ordered a used phone from some person. and well she has not gotten the tracking number and waited for the phone. but no phone.

Then seller would not contact me or paypal. and then he left ebay.

so basicly i got scammed. I reported to ebay just while ago...
What can ebay do to help me. And what will happen to the run away selller !?

my cousin and i are noobs to ebay and ordered from a 1 star seller....
so its my fault also ... however.. will ebay and paypal be able to track them. or will they not bother to track him? how will i get my money back ? track trhough IP ? i want my money back T_T

please let me know what my cousin can do.

How was the payment funded though paypal? Was it from a paypal balance or via a credit card registered with paypal?

You need to contact the credit card company who should be able to dispute the claim on your behalf. This will be quicker & more effective than dealing with ebay and paypal.

Yes, just tell the CC company you've paid for an item and not received it. They'll be able to advise best and do a chargeback on the original funds.

No you shouldn't have to make a claim to paypal. Just talk to your CC and they'll probably do a charge back and put the money back on your card.
