I'd like to recommend an ebay ezine to you, The Auction Reporter by Helen Farmer is a monthly summary of news, reviews and gossip in the online auction world.

Helen also documents her own eBay activities as she attempts to build up a full time eBay business. Helen does not seem to be some eBay marketer sending you their latest offers monthly but an ordinary person fighting their way though eBay developments.

I'd seriously recommend you at least check out the lastest issue to see if it's your kind of thing.
