| Ebay and Paypal are partners. So of course Ebay won't let you use an other credit card system because it would take away profits for paypal. |

| Many sellers are not companies and can't afford to have a merchant account for direct Credit Card processing. |

Sellers can no longer sell on Ebay without taking Pay Pal. Also they are now saying that Money Orders and Checks are too risky, so they are banning their acceptance. Also no seller can accept Credit/Debit cards without proving to Ebay that they have a merchant account. Sellers literally have to provide them with the documentation. This is just another means for Ebay/Pay Pal to maximize their monopoly on the online auction industry. What we need is a Hero! Please Google we're begging? |

I agree. Ebay/PayPal is together to maximize their profits, disregarding what we think. This is the best case scenario for them, not us.
Credit cards CAN be accepted through PayPal, but again, it would be charged a fee. Google Checkout seems nice, and cheaper than PayPal, but never going to happen on eBay.
They're accepting ProPay too. Anybody know more about that? |
