My name is John Thornhill and my background is nothing special; I was a factory worker and was sick of the hard shift work and the boring repetitive task my job involved. From the day I bought my first PC I was fascinated by the freedom the Internet brought. Plus the opportunity to make money. I was hooked from day one.

John, also known as PlanetSMS is a master of digital products and ebooks.

1) In your opinion is it still possible for a newbie to create a business and full time living on ebay, or is it the marketplace still too crowded?

John:
Of course it is still possible for a newbie to create a business. Especially with eBooks as if you create eBooks with resale rights you want as many people selling your eBooks as possible so the more eBook sellers there are the better.

2) What would be the biggest single piece of advice you'd offer to those looking to sell on ebay?

John:
Create your own eBooks with resale rights and allow other eBay members to sell them. Inside these eBooks would be affiliate links and links to your higher priced products.

3) Whats the biggest lesson you've learnt when building up your ebay business?

John:
Try to create as many 'partners' as possible, I generally do this by helping as many people as I can. Hopefully one day anyone I have helped will repay me by promoting my products. (Through their affiliate link of course)

4) Are you surprised at how well your ebook has been received?

John:
Yes, I must say I have had some excellent reviews and all have surprised me. This only inspires me to move forward and make my next product even better.

5) Do you have any more goals within ebay or have you achieved everything you've set out to do?

John:
I am only getting started, I am always striving to 'build my business' in any way I can. This is the key to success. Always try to create new products/services.

6) Do you have any other comments you wish to volunter to our readers?

John:
Yes, if you have never considered writing your own eBook please think about it. You can get all the help you need from my newsletter @ http://www.planetsmsnewsletter.com/
