What are some good items to start out selling? I'm just starting out and so far am not doing all that well. I'm just trying to sell some jeans, a couple dresses, and some evening shoes--all in new or like new condition. I think I made the mistake of clumping the jeans together and selling 3-4 together and they aren't selling for as much as if they had been sold separately. Also, the dresses I'm trying to sell were expensive when i bought them and they are selling at a very cheap price They're brand new with tags and this is still happening.
Just looking for some items that are guaranteed to sell and some advice on how to start off selling. I'd like to make a little money--I'm not looking to get rich off ebay, but having a few extra dollars would be nice Smile
I'm a smart person and tend to pick up on things very quickly I just need a little help. Thanks!!

| You can use www.terapeak.com to see what may sell and for how much, even before you procure the items. Try it out. |

| Turns out I am only going to break even. I may have 1-3 dollars more than it cost me to post and ship my 6 items I'm selling, but not more. I'm pretty disappointed. I don't understand how some ppl are making money on ebay. |

Sometimes volume or buying from the manufacturer, and even buying from exporters.
I hear some people make money from buying from yard sales and thrift stores. |
