I've almost totally given up on eBay.. it seems that everything's a scam... About half the things I've purchased have turned out to be fraudulent, junk or not as described. Has anyone seen fijiji? I'm hoping more people start using that. It's eBay's version of cragislist. It's too much of a pain to find anything on craigslist... and Craig hasn't done too much to improve the site.

BTW... I came across a new site today that looks pretty promising for reporting eBay users/scams.. or anyone you want... you can post whatever you want for feedback on the person whenever you want.. even the person's name and pictures. Ha!! You can contact other people too without even identifying yourself. http://www.peepsheet.com

How many people out there aren't scammers?

Following simple Ebay rules keeps the marketplace workable, lots of scammers do exist as they do on every other site (just take a look on craigslist!!!)

I had a lot of issues with scammers and eBay fees. Got so tried of it that I started a company and opened an online auction site! While I could not and am not even trying to compete with eBay, my site is a lot more secure. I have developed an Advance Fraud Prevention system that weeds upwards of 90 % of would be fraudulent users out before they even register! Anyhow, if you are interested you can check our my site, just google "mysafebid".

I have not really had any issues, maybe two no payers and just the email from manufacturers ( supposedly). I think that eBay is doing what they can to help out, but there are always going to be scammers.
