Has anybody been to a real auction (by that I mean in an auctionhouse). My grandfather was an auctioneer so I have been to a few - very exciting but expensive.

No - never. Been to a few car auctions, that's about as good as it gets for me.

I am a regularly at various ones, its great fun and some great bargains that can be turned around in no time at all..

Is it possible to purchase goods at auctionhouses and resell them on eBay? or vice versa? Has anyone experience of this?

I know in the past, I've purchased off bidup TV/pricedrop and resold on eBay for a nice profit.

the speed they talk is just crazy....i can never understand what price the item is going for ...lol
