Hi,

I didn't see a sticky on this so I figured I would post it and see if anyone replied.

Is there a site that archives Ebay auctions to see how much items have been going for in previous auctions?

Also is there a service (outside of Ebay or inside of Ebay) that can notify you when a specific product or type of product goes up for auction?

Thanks for your help.

Favourite Searches lets you quickly find new items that you really want. You can even be emailed by eBay when new items matching your favourite search appear. To set it up log into ebay and select the option for favourite searches.

You can look at auctions that have ended by checking the completed listings option on the search options on the left side of the screen when looking at listings.

As Part Time Seller, mentions you can always check the completed auctions with ebay. However, as a rule they only keep auctions for around ninety days.

Andale offers a few research tools to find the kind of data your after, including how to find the success rate and average selling price of any item.
