It would really depend on the person. If you want to st up a site yourself or but a turnkey solution, there will still be some work to do. There really are no get rich quick schemes for the internet, even though you will find sites claiming that all over.

I have an online store and an eBay store and do OK, but I can be doing better. With working a full time job and having two small companies I run on the side, it is hard to keep up.

If you plan on selling on the internet, do some research, find good products, buy wholesale and prepare to advertise.

I heard it and heard it and heard it, but until it sunk in and I actually started doing it things weren't working AT ALL.

You have to treat your online business and sales activities like you would an off line business. If it's only a "hobby" to you and that's how you treat it that is certainly fine, just don't expect to reap the same rewards you would if you were running a business.

That said, as far as I'm concerned selling online is the ONLY way to go!
