Buy low, sell high. Made a few bucks. That was fun. |

What got me started on eBay . . . the complete concept and ease of the eBay online auction marketplace.
It really took the WORLD by storm . . . and has really got to be the "greatest thing since sliced bread" . . . What else is there . . . and in fact where would YOU be without eBay !!!! |

i was on my 2nd deployment to Iraq. I sat down one night after getting blown up for the god knows how many ith time. I realized even given I would get home in 1 piece my upcoming birthday would = about the half way mark for my life. I'd collected all kinds of things during my life and they fill up several parts of my garage and basement. I have no wife or kids to leave anything to. I began to think what I was going to do with it. I went to start an ebay account figuring i'd sell off all this stuff I had collected. During the wait for paypal I ran into an old girlfriend and she told me about her experiences and some thing she has got on the inside about what they were going or tying to do. Given this new batch of into when My friend talked to me about wanting to start an online thing. We sat down and came up with our own site. So now I am starting to sell on my own site. http://www.thetraderoutlet.com
PS. I officially retired from the Army yesterday. |

I first started as a buyer when I wanted some things at a lower price. What better place to buy, right? Now, I've been slowly moving on to selling, and trying to find alternative sites now due to the increase of ebay's fees.
How else is everyone dealing with it? Maybe I should post the question in another topic... |

I read a ton of books on eBay lookin gfor that secret "something" that I coudl sell to make tons o' cash. Every book I read said: "Sell something you are passionate about."
So finally I broke down and started selling what I was passionate about: 8 bit Nintendo games. |
