Somebody sold an old bottle of beer for $304 but failed to spell the title correctly - omitting a second 'P' from the brewers name - Allsopps. The buyer of the item then went on to relist it with a correct title and a it more detail - it sold for $503,300!!!

The original seller must be GUTTED!!!

This proves the need to research your items properly...

Thankyou Smile it worked my dad and mom thought that was pretty crazy and my mom felt bad for the kid who made the typo and lost out on that very expensive bottle of ale.

Imagine how bad the original seller must have felt knowing he's lost out on that much. Doesn't bare thinking about.

Rather tense feedback left between the buyer and seller of the $500k sale!

I guess a second chance offer will have been started, or at least the seller got their fees back from the NPB dispute. Anyone calculated what they would have been?
