I just recently started using video to sell my products on eBay and eBay autos. I found a tool named AzoocaCapture.com. It's free to use. My sales have increased dramatically because as one of my buyers told me "I actually could see the condition of your TV before I bought it" Just FYI

I have mixed feelings about using video on listings. People who are sneaking at work for example, won't have their speakers on. I don't have mine on half the time because it is annoying. I think you have to consider your audience, their connection speed, etc. I think video is a nice touch, but I wonder if it is a turn off for some customers.

Certain listing more than others are geared to the use of videos, some of the car listings have a video walk round to show condition etc which is quite useful for example...

I can see where video's would be a plus with selling on Ebay Motors. I would be hestitant to use it for regular non-auto auctions. I hate regular auctions that have music, people talking, so I don't think I would like video. Plus time is limited when I am looking at auctions, wouldn't want to wait on the video to load. Just my thoughts.
