Yes - but it's essential to do research first. A lot of sellers:

- enter an overcrowded market with unprofessional sellers
- do not work out all fees including eBay and paypal fees

Also, do plenty of research to see how much similar items have gone for in the past, prepare a professional listing, time your auction right, make sure you communicate with all interested bidders, use high quality photos and you can't go wrong. Wink

Yes, you can surely make money on Ebay. Just got to have stuff to put on there that people will buy. I love selling the stuff that you don't have to ship.

You can when you take all things into consideration. It may sound like it's easy but it's not that simple

Over $121,000,000 is sold on eBay every day. About 10% of the people on eBay are sellers. And very few of them know how to sell correctly. My source is the link below but I thought I'd share that with you. The answer is YES!!!! YOU CAN MAKE BANK ON EBAY!!!

You can make heaps of money. The key is to get your stuff at low prices so you have plenty of room to make cash.

Yard Sales are good places to find stuff - also - import goods from China - cheap as chips and relatively easy to do, but you will need a bit of capital.

Yes, I have only been selling for 3 months, I ony use dropshippers and have made a little over $600, which isn't so bad for no of pocket expense and no inventory. And the others are right, you have to research and see what is really selling and try to beat thier prices.

The listing fees have gone down, which is a blessing - but the final value fee went up, so my suggestion is to start your actual item price as low as possible so you don't have to pay ebay so much - and try to make most of your profit off shipping and handling. People may not like to see high shipping, but I think they know why you have to do that. One hint to selling products other people are selling is to make your listing title stand out, try to be as unique as possible so your listing won't show up next to the other 50 selling the same thing. When you find an item that seems too sell pretty well, continue to relist those, list them in different categories, you can list the same item up to 15 times. Also, when you are deciding your listing price and shipping costs, be sure to start with your cost on the item, count ebays listing fees and an estimate on the final value fee and paypal fees, atleast make sure you will break even if nothing else until you figure out what sells. Good Luck!!!

Try to find a niche that isnt oversaturated. In addition to buying from wholesalers, you can get items from garage sales and from storage units that are being auctioned off because the person didnt pay their storage rent.

If you couldn't make money, nobody would be doing it!

There are no shortage of programs out there to help. Just a short search brought up a couple thousand hits. Here's one - looks like a bunch of crap to me - but maybe it'll work!

You sure can but make sure your markup is high since eBay and Paypal take quite a bit. eBay has recently increased its final value fees. I would suggest buying items from garage sales or overseas wholesalers (don't buy fake stuff though). Further, with the new feedback changes, make sure you don't sell crap or your feedback score is going to get hit pretty bad.
