Hi.. I have found a supplier in Hong Kong. He is going to send me a couple of samples before I place an order. He asked that I pay through paypal for the samples which is fine, but what stopped me paying was his paypal address it began with ebay@...com. If I like the samples and place an order he said to pay by western union or tt to hsbc bank.

I looked up his company on the whois register and this is what is says.. But what does it tell me... Not sure whether to order or not. What do you think

Well, I can't find a lot on the company kamashi.com. The whois tells you the domain is established which is a good sign - scammers will only normally register a name for 1 year.

However, as you can see, a lot of people will avoid sellers from Hong Kong. Buying from Hong Kong can always be a risk.

Off topic, why would an email address beginning with ebay@...com put you off? A lot of sellers use eBay as their email address, just so they can track payments from certain sites.

Thank you for that Mark..I did not realise that sellers use ebay as there email address, there must be thousands of email address's that begin with ebay. I will look at the link, then decide. Thank you again for taking time to reply.

Don't buy from Hong Kong - go to Main Land China - it is much cheaper.

Hong Kong is more expensive.

Go to places like Ningbo. You can find great suppliers on Alibaba.com.

He seems okay. I would pay him via paypal in case anything goes wrong you can request a refund through paypal.
