Just wanted too say hello to everyone here! I just started selling on ebay a over a few weeks ago. Right now I've just been playing the market with video games such as PS2.

How dose one deal with the loss of no sale?

Hoping to meet some people here to share ideas and stuff.
Looking forward to exploring this fourm :)

You don't want to have too many auctions end with no sale. The insertion fees and listing upgrade fees will add up fast. Do your research on how well a potential product will sell before listing it. It will save you a lot of time and money.

Yes! and the tooth fairy will bring you money if nobody buys your games.

Sorry for the mockery, but the truth is that the number of conditions required to relist the item for free are so restrictive that you may as well forget about it. You will not get any money back for listing upgrades, and you will not get your money back if an item does not sell.

There are two ways to make money in eBay: volume or margins. Either you have a large number of cheap items in which you can make 2-5%, or you sell high margin products, which will cost you hundreds or thousands of dollars, but that will net you $100-$300 each time you sell it.

Playstation games? You are out of luck. You will always find someone willing to lose money on it because they simply do not want the item any more. It is just like a garage sale.

If you really want to have a go at it with that product you need to find a very large supply of them and take the shotgun approach: blast everything and see what sticks.

Welcome to the board. When you say "the loss of no sale", do you mean it didn't sell as listed, or that the buyer failed to pay?

Welcome.

Did you have a set price? Was it 'Buy it Now' option? How much was shipping. Maybe read up on ebay selling strategies to lessen the loss of money.

Try doing a 7 day auction, and start your game a .99 cents. That brings in attention. Sometimes that is all it takes for an item to sell for what its worth..
