I had a auction for a car had some really good bidders. a buyitnow ended the auction at a significently higher price. I looked up the buyer and he had mostly good feedback but for very small items some very significent negative feedback for larger items and that he didnt respond. I looke him up by address on Google earth and by the neighborhood and the apearance of the apartment complex did not feel comfortable. I sent him a congratulations etc contact me and well make arrangements No reply i waited the five days that i had set for paying 10% of purchase and again contacted him. he finally replyed that his account was used fraudulently and sorry. Ebay never has confirmed fraud and argued with me about why they should charge me which they did said sorry about that but it appeared so i had to pay and heres the kicker the guy who wasnt the buyer gave me negative feedback and said i cursed at him. He didnt buy anything if his sccount was taken over why is he allowed to put negative feedback on there. Ebay told me if hisaccount was hijacked when it was restored he could give me negative feedback i was flabergasted he wasnt the buyer he lied about me and i could of sold it and he cost me thousands the ebay lady was argumentative evasive and scolding i told her that ebay must have a new definition of buyer. I said if what your saying is true i could buytinow hundreds of items say it wasnt me and leave negative feedback on all these buyers and that was ok. Can i cancel my account and start a new one without this bogus feedback? is there anyway to get it off my current account? Iwas on hold with ebay each time over and hourand ahalf and had several dropped calls before finallly talked with a person to no avail also emailed 5 or six requests to remove and got i think form responses.
