The other half has had a run-in with a very dodgy sellera few months ago. Luckily she was on her account (she has a habit of buying things from my selling account - grrrr!)

Only after winning the auction did she realise the feedback, and the payments terms, but nonetheless she went along with it and asked for details of how to make payment - cheque, bank transfer etc - paypal not accepted.

A few days later, no response, so sent another email again, no response.
She opened a dispute, but since she had not made a payment, she could not escalate it to the seller protection programme. She received a neg for her troubles, before she had the chance to leave any feedback for the seller!

We have since been contacted by a fair number of other buyers who were in the same situation, including one who had the misfortune to buy a replacement item from the same seller using a different ID!! Each account has the same name, but 3 different addresses, but the product lines are the same, and so are the litany of problems encountered.

I have never seen a seller with such a poor record still trading!! Feedback comments speak for themselves on these 3 ID's

Ginkazana

xportbuy

Mushysun

But he must be spending a LOT with eBay in listing and Final value fees - the more cynical amongst us would therefore not question why he is still allowed to trade....

The power of Auction Arses!! Feedback was being received within the last few days, so this is a new development!

I suspect a new ID will pop up soon, with the same type of product.
