Ok then. Here we go. I was an eBay Silver Powerseller with nearly 2000 feedback, selling legal software for instant download, in accordance with all eBay Policies. The eBay Secret Police Informer network looked at my products, one in particular, and decided that my products were illegal. To cut a long story short they shut me down. That was after having removed my perfectly legal listings, and then re-allowing me to list those identical items with an apology from eBay, and doing this several times too. But then they decided that those listings were actually illegal [despite the fact that they conform in all respects to eBay's Listing Policies] despite telling me that they had earlier removed those listings 'in error' [their phrase, not mine]. So now they have shut down all three of my accounts for a year, no appeals, no reinstatements, etc. They do not know squat about my products so how can they possibly tell if they are lgal or not? They have not bought any to look at!!

My customers loved me [and have contacted me asking where I have gone], they loved my customer service and my money back guarantees. They loved the products and the speedy delivery system. All this counts for nothing to the eBay *******s; they have lost a brilliant seller who brought them in hundreds of pounds per month in commission for them - but they don't care; there are plenty more like me for them to use up :x

Then another time I noted that the 'Microsoft Netsafe Team' [they look for sellers selling Microsoft-related items] have an eBay username. It's 'msnetsafeteam' - go take a look. Their feedback rating is 4. If you look at the details [click the '4'], you will see that they have HUNDREDS of NEUTRAL feedbacks, most of which begin with the word 'NEGATIVE'. It seems that eBay will not let users leave negative feedback for Microsoft. Furthermore, when I emailed eBay's support 'services' for an explanation of this, within FOUR HOURS, msnetsafeteam's feedback had gone 'private'. Coincidence?? Anyway, nowadays eBay do not allow Private feedback, so msnetsafeteam is back in the open again with all their cheated feedback. Although I did think that eBay would alow them to have Private feedback, since they have no negative feedback!!!!

The other thing is that eBay have no complaints system at all. You cannot complain ABOUT eBay at all. Any complaints are either ignored or they give you one of their irrelevant rubber-stamp emails that does not relate to your complaint. I realise that they have a lot of 'customers' but they should employ more staff, then. It seems that unless your comment, complaint or question conforms to one of their rubber stamp replies, then you either will not get a reply or [more likely] you will get an irrelevant one.

When my suspension period is up [next March] I will of course re-register with the eBay *****'s but it's only through necessity; the other sites simply do not gemerate the traffic.

However if any other eBay sellers are out there reading this, please do beware. Even if you are a Powerseller, do not believe the lies about your being a valued customer and all that rubbish. They will drop you like a hot potato if you put a foot wrong, good record or no, great eBayer or no. eBay really are ****s and it's a real shame that none of the other auction sites even comes close in terms of traffic.
