Beware of scams out there guys. Everyone has an agenda, if you try a "free" trial make sure to keep track of when the trial ends. Many companies count on your forgetting and then getting charged month after month. I know many that have gotten burned this way.(myself included) Good luck.

Why do people insist on calling something that's a free trial with recurring billing a scam? I agree, if it's not shown on the page where you enter your credit card info and only in the terms this is a very questionable business practice, but if it says it when you enter your information you need to take some responsibility.

Also, 99% of them take credit cards, simply call their customer service and cancel, if they don't refund you if they billed you, then chargeback, it's pretty easy. A lot of credit card companies even have the chargeback form right online you don't even have to call them.

great advise james. i for one am famous for forgetting to cancel to my free trials and usually end up have to pay something most of the time. an easy to remind yourself to cancel is to put it on your google calendar. i put in on a day or so before the trial actually ends just to be sure.
