Is this possible, and allowed?

What's selling on eBay at the moment, have you discovered any profitable dropshippers or wholesalers?

Hi all i just started selling laptops on ebay last month. Anyways i posted a laptop once and got the price wrong. I raised the price to what it was supposed to be, and so ebay charged me for the new listing fee, and then gave me back the old listing fee amount.

If ebay will refund your listing fees when you change the prices, can you list an item for say 500, and then at the last moment when its not going to sell, lower the price to 10, and take off the description and pics just to make sure no one will buy it?! Because that would save me a lot of $.

Is this possible (when i was refunded my fees i had upped the price so my fees were bigger, i never tried the other way around) and is it allowed? If it is possible what are the consequences?

I don't know - but I know it has worked in the past for me. I've used featured plus and took it off half way though an auction and the fee has been deducted. I hope you try it and report back the results.
