Thanks for getting back to me fast i am okay with the present condition of the item and the price,consider me as your favorite buyer.I will be paying via cashiers check which i found to be easy and reliable.I do have a shipper/mover who takes care of the shipping aspect throughout the state, so they will be the one to pick up the item at your end.....i would need your name,address and contact telephone number so that the payment can be issue right away but the payment will be issue in excess so when you receive the check,cash it and wire the rest to my shipper/mover so that they can come for the pick up at your end.so get back to me as soon as possible so that the check can be send asap.

This is the first time I have heard of such an arrange where you the seller will be the one to pay the buyer's private shipper/mover. It does sound a bit bogus. May be you can try to find out a little more about your buyer if you feel uneasy about the whole deal.

Also if you have specified the type of payment you accept and cashiers check is not listed in there, then you can inform your buyer about this.

Yes, this is a common scam. Although the check will look genuine and initially be processed into your account it will later be confirmed as a fake. By this point, you will have already wired the "difference" to the shipper and you will be out of pocket yourself. Remember with Western Union or similar wire payments, transactions are not reversable so once you've sent the payment you can not retrieve it.

Avoid this scammer and please take the time to report the account to ebay so they can act accordingly.
