Is it possible to shop in ebay with an unverified Paypal

What's selling on eBay at the moment, have you discovered any profitable dropshippers or wholesalers?

Am I right in thinking you used a credit card to sign up first? This is what my wife did and she was automatically given spending and recieving limits for each month based on the credit card. One thing she couldn't do was transfer the money out of paypal though to her bank account.

I have an unverified account with paypal and have used it in the past to pay for ebay auctions. Like Wayne said, the only thing I can't do is transfer money to a bank account. Basically, my husband also has a paypal account that is verified with our bank account number and it won't let me use the same number since it's already assigned to his account. So I just send whatever money I get through paypal to him and he transfers it to our bank account. That's the only problem (that I know of) with having an unverified paypal account.

Hi
With regard to the $100 spending limit.
I thought that this was the limit paypal set on your transaction totals.
After that limit, I believe you have to be verified to use paypal for trading.
Although you can buy goods through paypal without an account.

i'm sure you can but some sellers don't accept that, you have to make sure that the sellers don't mention that they don't accept unverified paypal... better ask them first.

You sure can. I used my univerified Paypal to buy some stuff from eBay before.

But like what pspdropship mentioned, some sellers don't accept unverified Paypal accounts. It's safe to ask them first. Better be safe than sorry.

I'm an Ebay seller and I personally don't accept unverified Paypal accounts for big ticket items.

Yes you can shop without a verified account however some sellers will not want to do business with you if you are unverified, I had that problem in the beginning so I became verified.

I personally wouldn't do business with someone who is unverified. People become a little suspicous of why you aren't verified. If you are interested in doing a lot business on ebay, you should definetly become verifed.

Hmm.

Have you heard of MoneyExchange before? It allows money transfers (collecting and paying) without transfer fees and it's secure too.

Give it a whirl, plus signing up is free too: http://www.revmoney.com

There aren't that many sellers that exclude unverified paypal accounts... I'd just work on getting it verified somehow.
