My name is MacArthur (Mac for short). I am new to eBay, although I have been selling online for about 5 years now, but online work has always been a side business for me.
I buy/build/lease/sell houses IRL, I've had decent success with that. But I'm trying to "retire" from active RE work and develop more online businesses instead of new houses... it was a helpful operation when houses were in huge demand four years ago, but with the excess housing inventory on the market now, customers don't need me in the homebuilding industry for the foreseeable future.
Now with everyone grumbling about the economy and interested in saving, I figure some sort of online offering of affordable products will be more useful to the public.
I am likely to ask a lot of stupid questions about eBay, although I promise to be good and RTFM and search the forum (to see if my question has been answered already) before I start new threads.
I can offer my $.02 in any questions about general business/marketing, and web-oriented technical questions, hopefully that will make up for my utter ignorance of eBay-specific topics.
Thanks to Mark for hosting this and to all the other people who have posted content, I will be spending many many hours reading over what y'all have contributed already, know that it is appreciated.
Thanks,
Mac
