Well I got a really bad deal from Hooch4u on ebay and he lives in Marbury, MD and I live in California. Now, the thing is, I know I will not get him to refund me nor will I get any resolve from eBay, so I figured I'd try suing him. Has anyone had this kind of experience? If so, any pointer would help greatly.
I have great knowledge about the small claims process here in California and if I have to go that way I will. I know he won't show up for court and it will be a default winning case. Then I can proceed with a lien on him in his state, but I want to know what you think and any advice you can pass along. Thanks.

P.S. When he files his taxes, guess what? He will not get the full amount until I'm paid! How about that for a Bad eBay Seller revenge!

Your judgement will not allow you to levy his tax check, however, you can garnish his wages if you know where he works, and you have received a judgement from the courts. Different states vary in levels of garnishments. Best thing to do to start with is file a small claims suit in your jurisdiction and go from there. Fairly inexpensive and no attorney required.
