I auctioned an item, sold it, sent an invoice and then, guess what. Buyer emailed saying he’d bought something else because he thought I was a scammer. Exchange of email became pointless, he gave me a negative feedback and Ebay knocked me off my 100% down to 50% on the basis of a libellous feedabck . So I referred to Ebay for resolution. They emailed with instructions on how to get my insertion fee back, thus entirely missing the point; fee was trivial, I have to live with a libel and 50% and the buyer (whose feedback seems to come entirely from himself) lives to do it again to some other unsuspecting soul. I’ve just asked Ebay to take a closer look at how their service was being misused and await to hear with little hope of any sense emerging. Take a look at the manwar0786 feedback, compare with mine (georgepopovic) & see what you think; Ebay say he hasn’t breached any Ebay policy.

That's totally Bad!!
I had one customer leave negative feedback with me, calling me a scammer as well.
I had this negative feedback taken off from eBay because I was able to prove what had happened.

eBay CAN and WILL take that negative feedback off, but not through email. What I have found, is that when you email them, you basically get bounced back and forth between different Customer Service Reps.

Ring them.!! And don't let them off the phone until they fully understand what has happened. You may need to send them your emails between you and the horrible buyer.

Phone number is: 866-877-3229, or 866-540-3229 and 877-322-9081 are alternate numbers

Hope this helps :)
