It is possible to view an eBay members negative or neutral feedback through the main eBay site.

First of all select the member you wish to check, and look at the rightt hand side of the banner - above the item number. There is a drop down box where a time period can be selected.

It will only filter a maximum of the last 12 months comments - the same as the recent rating box at the top. Click the Go button.

Once this has filtered the period, a selection of feedback options appear at the top.

Simply click on one of these options to further filter the comments.

This is particularly useful with some high-volume sellers. They may have a feedback score of 10,000+, but if they have received a few hundred negs, then it could take some time to find these comments to identify if the seller has a problem in a certain area.

On this subject, a couple of negs are not always a bad thing. A well worded, factual response to a feedback can change the whole perspective of the original comment.

This tip will surely help to check the status of a seller.
One should never forget to check the feedback of a particular seller.

This will help in selecting a fair seller and there will be less chance of you being dodged.

Cheers!

Now that eBay has added this option - eBay users will be able to view other members' feedback in a new way - by allowing them to isolate positive, neutral or negative feedback. This will help save buyers time when trying to do a background check on a particular seller.

Yes, it is a great addition. Helps buyers screen their would-be sellers faster - since they can see outright the number of (+), (-) and neutrals a seller has.

For Seller's having this new feature should be like challenge or meter of some sort where they can easily keep tab on how their feedbacks are doing... Maybe do a little brainstorming on the side as to how they can increase the total number for the (+) and decrease the (-).

All the best!

Exactly ed! Customers will definitely be on the watch for those (+) so as sellers we/you have to do your best in gaining more (+) and avoiding any (-). Its only but normal for someone to buy from a seller known and praised for the good things they offer (product/service). I would, wouldn't you?
