How do you use eBay, is it mainly for buying or selling. If selling, do you offer normal listings or operate an ebay shop - or a mixture of both?

Mainly for buying these days and snapping up bargains. I'm always looking for opportunities to move into though.

I use eBay for buying and selling. The type of sales i do depends on the product i'm selling at the time, If i have lots of similar items to sell i open a eBay shop to list them with. If my sales change randomly (which is seasonal) I use auction listings maybe with a but it now stuck in.

I use it mainly for buying now. Too much time spent trying to make a decent revenue which takes a while to set up. Much more time than I have to spend. Still the opportunities are there if you are willing to put the work in.

Hi
I do a bit of selling and then usually buy something, which I then class as having cost me nothing.
Recently bought a 4Gb ipod from my sales money.

I use it to sell items that are there to send traffic to my websites so as I can maximise the customer value of Ebay massive marketplace. For example, my mobile phone auctions regularly drive well over 100 customers per listing (on average) to my main site..

For selling, other peoples items. Mostly friends and family, I want to become an official trading assistant before the year is out. I'm sure that a lot of potential custom is not aware or registered on ebay.

Ebay is a great place to find pretty much anything you can find in a real store. But where it really shines, is when it comes to those hard to find items, or collectibles. If you collect something, chances are you can find it on ebay.

I use it mostly for selling - it's been quite a while since I've bought anything.

I used to be in the surplus office equipment business, and I used eBay to sell all of those items.

These days, a lot of my products are digital, so I use eBay to help sell my products. I look at eBay as just another way to get leads in the door and people into my sales funnel.

dont bother asking for help on ebay help forums....especially the new to ebay, if you have to ask on there your obviously far to stupid to be a part on the wonderful world of ebay as you will see if your foolish enough to go asking for help on there. and bare in mind when you DO get ripped off which im quite sure you will sooner or later, dont expect any help or sympathy from there either as you,l be told in no uncertain trms just how stupid you are/have been and its all your own fault !!! i swear this is true !!
