At the risk of sounding redundant, you
find your niche by first exploring what makes you go hmmm...
In other words, what's your passion?
Make lists for the following questions:
- What hobbies do you have?
- What things have you always wanted to learn how to do?
- What type of training do you have (vocational or professional)?
- What kind of work do you do?
- What kind of brick & mortar business are in?
- What things do you like to do (your passion; is it teaching)?
- What skills do you have?
You get the idea. Use a single looseleaf page for each of these items and start listing and explaining to yourself, what you know about yourself. When you have completed all the lists, let them rest a few days. Come back to them and now try to prioritize the items on each list. Compare the prioritized items on each list and see if you can come up with a general theme of what you might like to do. The higher on your list, the closer you are to your passion. Then you need to use the new information to brainstorm. Eventually you will find yourself, and you will find your niche!
