You're in a highly competative market but don't let that worry you. There's a number of things you can do. To begin with take some good pictures. And I mean really good pictures. You want at least three. Use Photobucket to host these pictures on so you don't have to pay ebay any extra. By using photobucket you can have the pictures appear in your listing for free.
Take some oics of the product against a white background to make them stand out. Take a pick of someone's hair with the extensions in.
Second write a really good description. Look at what your competitors are doing. How are the successful ones describing their products? Don't be afraid to steal ideas, we all do it.
Ideally you should be using a template to make your listing more professional. Give a guarntee with your product.
Start writing some reviews about your product on ebay. If you really wanted to bring traffic to your products write some articles about your product and post them on Ezine articles with a link to your shop or auction, you could even write a squidoo lens. The options for marketing are huge. Think outside of the box and the opportunities will unravel before your eyes.
Imagination is the key. Go for it.
Good Luck
